“The Bucks County Performing Arts Institute is a non-profit organization for the advancement of the performing arts for youth in the Bucks County region.”
Goals:
BCPAI’S goals are to support the advancement of the performing arts in our region by providing scholarships for exceptional students or those needing financial assistance in order to acquire professional training in music, or drama; to acquire and provide funding for culturally diverse community music, dance or drama programs that utilize the arts to improve the academic skills, social skills and emotional health of “children at risk” and to enrich the quality of life in the region.
Our Activities and Projects Include the Following:
- VOICES of Bucks County (An Inter-generational Performance Troupe)
- PERFORMANCES (See calendar of events0
- Scholarships – Both Merit scholarships for children 8-18 and college awards
- AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS (“Acting Out”, VOICES jr and Song-writing)
- INSTRUMENT DONATION PROGRAM (Providing instruments to area children)
- Community Programs- Especially Early Childhood Music for “Children at Risk”
